The
right of the people to use the
initiative process to change the
laws of their government, or to
petition the government for redress
of grievances has been seriously
eroded due to the actions of
politicians and non-elected
bureaucrats in the past several
years. The Idaho Liberty Lobby
was found to help correct this
travesty by:
1.
Vindicating the First Amendments rights
of all Idaho citizens to engage in the
initiative process at the municipal
level without arbitrary interference
by elected or appointed bureaucrats.
2. Lobbying the Legislature in 2006 to clarify
state laws regarding the municipal electoral
process.
3. Engaging in litigation in state and federal
courts to protect Idahoans municipal
initiative rights. |
